GRANDE MTL 2021
Grande MTL aims to promote the printed arts milieu within a wide range of disciplines, encourage innovation within and across practices and provide a place for artists to connect with the public and each other.
Normally held as an in-person art fair, this summer’s fourth edition of Grande MTL will present new printed works in storefronts as part of a self-guided exhibit along a route through the Mile End and Mile Ex districts (see map here). The pubic will be able to order art prints directly from the artists through a QR code displayed next to each work.
An outdoor Grande print fair in conjunction with Expozine will be held on Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12 at Entrepot 77, 77 Bernard E. as part of the Art POP component of the POP Montreal International Music Festival! Free admission, noon to 6 pm.
ABOUT GRANDE MTL
The Grande MTL printed art fair has been produced since 2016 by ARCMTL, a non-profit organization in Montreal dedicated to the promotion and the preservation of the independent arts milieu. Grande MTL is one of the three annual festivals held by ARCMTL, along with Expozine (since 2002) and Volume MTL (since 2017). ARCMTL also operates the Distroboto network of art vending machines (since 2001).
